Although it is usually on our tables as an appetizer, it can be consumed as an appetizer for dinner or for breakfast in the morning. The most delicious accompaniment is feta cheese.   • 5 roasted red peppers
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2-3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 teaspoon red chili pepper
  • 3 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 cup walnut kernels
  • 2 slices of stale bread or sliced bread
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3~4 tbsp pomegranate syrup
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper

For the top:

  • Parsley


  1. Peel the peppers, remove the seeds, and put them in a food processor.
  2. After adding the garlic and mashing the peppers, put them in a bowl. Add tomato paste to it. 
  3. Chop the walnut kernels and bread into small pieces in the food processor.
  4. Mix with the remaining ingredients. Enjoy your meal.
Serving Suggestions

Put the mohammara on serving plates and sprinkle chopped parsley all over. Drizzle olive oil over it and serve with bread slices.

  • You can make muhammara by chopping it with a knife instead of a food processor. 
  • You can change the level of heat according to your spice resistance.
  • If you are going to use ready-roasted peppers, you should wash the peppers after removing them from their juice.
