Banana Bread


  • 3 fully ripe (full yellow) or overripe bananas                 
  • 105 g butter (at room temperature)         
  • 8 tablespoons brown sugar 
  • 2 eggs                        
  • 1/2 cup yogurt    
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar                       
  • 260 g flour  
  • 1.5 teaspoons of baking soda   
  • 1 tsp cinnamon 
  • 120 g dark chocolate
Banana Bread


  1. Take two bananas in a bowl and start mashing. Add yogurt and mix well. In another bowl, whisk the butter and sugar until they blend.
  2. Then add the eggs one by one and continue whisking. Add the yogurt and banana mixture you prepared before and continue whisking until it becomes liquid.
  3. Add the flour, baking soda, vanilla, and cinnamon, except the dark chocolate, and mix until you get a smooth mixture.
  4. When the mixture is smooth, add the dark chocolate and mix with a spatula without mashing it too hard. 
  5. Put the mixture into the cake mold that you have greased with butter, and place the 1 banana you have reserved on top by peeling it and cutting it in half.
  6. Bake in a preheated 180-degree oven for 40 minutes. After removing it from the oven, let it rest for 30 minutes. When it cools down, slice and serve.
