Turkish Yogurt Cake

Ingredients

  • 3-3.5 cups flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup yogurt (diluted consistency)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla

  • Powdered sugar
  • Fruit pieces (optional)

Instructions

  1. First, break the eggs into a bowl and add the granulated sugar.
  2. Beat the mixture with a whisk or mixer until it is mixed.
  3. Then add vanilla, oil, and yogurt. Continue mixing.
  4. After adding the baking powder, add the flour little by little and whisk.
  5. Mix until you get a thick, liquid consistency.
  6. Flour and butter the cake mold. Pour the prepared cake mixture into the mold.
  7. Bake your cake in a preheated 180-degree oven for 30–40 minutes.
  8. Leave the baked cake to cool. Bon appetit!

You can add powdered sugar and fruit pieces when the cake has cooled. Slice and serve.
