  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

For the filling:

  • 1 cup grated cheddar/kashar cheese
  • 2 cups of curd cheese
  • 1 bunch of finely chopped parsley


  1. Add flour to a deep bowl, make a hole in the middle, and add oil, salt, and warm water.
  2. Start kneading the dough with your hands.
  3. Divide the dough, which you knead until it gets a consistency that does not stick to your hands, into equal amounts of pieces, cover it with a clean cloth, and leave it to rest for 10 minutes.
  4. On the floured countertop, roll out the pieces one by one with the help of a rolling pin until they are as thin as the size of a plate.
  5. Blend the curd, kashar cheese, and parsley in a bowl.
  6. Spread the cheese mixture in the center of the dough, and cut the extra part of the dough with a knife.
  7. Fold the dough on all four sides and grease it so that it does not open at the junction.
  8. Put the gözleme on a lightly greased hot pan and start cooking back and forth.
  9. Do the same with all the gözleme. Bon Appetit.
