Expert Tips
  • In the first stage, to prepare the cream, bring the flour, starch, egg yolks, sugar and milk in a saucepan and whisk it to a smooth consistency before putting it on the stove.
  • Because flour and starch are very easy to clump due to their structure, they need to be whisked well to avoid clumping in the cream.
  • Mixing should continue on the stove. Again, the aim here is to prevent clumping. The cream added to the custard should be added after the disappearance of the first heat of the custard so that the milk does not curdle.
  • After the biscuits are taken from the food processor, the custard should be allowed to cool for a while, and then the biscuits should be added. This is to prevent the heat from causing the biscuit to soften.
  • When making magnolia, you can use the fruits of your choice and increase the flavor even more.
  • If lumps form, pass the custard through a blender.
  • If you don't have a food processor, put the biscuits in a bag and seal it. Gently tap them with the bottom of the jar to granulate them.
