For the meatballs, mix the grated onion, chopped parsley, egg, crushed garlic, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl. Add grated parmesan cheese and ground meat and knead with your hands until evenly combined. Roll the mixture into tablespoon-size balls. Place them on baking paper and set aside.
For the soup, put the chicken broth and chopped spinach in a pot and boil. Add the meatballs and mix. Add the pasta and cook for about 20 minutes while stirring. Add salt and black pepper. Take it off the stove. Serve hot.

Since the meatballs will continue to cook in the soup, it will be enough to cook them in the pan for a maximum 4 minutes.
Instead of breadcrumbs, you can grind the bread in a rondo to make use of the existing bread at home.
If you want a meatier soup, you can reduce the amount of pasta.
For this soup, small-sized pasta should be preferred.
