Expert Tips
  • Many factors, such as egg size and room temperature, may cause changes in the recipe. Increase the amount of flour if needed. Crepe batter should be more liquid compared to pancake batter in terms of consistency.
  • The pan you will use when starting the recipe is very important. If possible, use a non-stick pan and a plastic spatula.
  • Make sure that all ingredients are at room temperature. Especially the eggs you will use.
  • When preparing the batter, use a blender to make the ingredients blend perfectly.
  • Leave the batter at room temperature for 1 hour for the crepe consistency to hold properly. When air bubbles start to appear, you can start cooking.
  • During cooking, make sure that one side is fully cooked and turn it over to the other side. Otherwise, the crepes will start to fall apart.
