Chicken Soup


  • 1 chicken thigh
  • 2 liters of water
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Half a cup of vermicelli

For the dressing:

  • 1.5 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 egg yolk

For the top:

  • 2 tsp mint
  • 2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp butter
Chicken Soup


  1. Put the chicken thighs, bay leaf, water, and salt in a deep pot and boil them together.
  2. For the dressing, put the flour, yogurt, egg yolk, salt, and juice of half a lemon in a bowl and mix until you get a smooth consistency.
  3. After the chicken is boiled, put the bay leaf and chicken thighs in another bowl and shred the chicken finely.
  4. Take a ladle of the water you boiled the chicken in and slowly pour it into the dressing you prepared.
  5. Do not forget to stir the dressing continuously. When the temperature of the seasoning and the soup is equalized, transfer the dressing into the boiling water.
  6. Add the shredded chicken and vermicelli and cook over low heat for 10 minutes while stirring.
  7. Melt the butter for the sauce. Add red pepper flakes and mint to it and mix. Pour the sauce over the soup and serve the soup. Enjoy your meal!
